Has anyone used this yet? http://www.cermetlab.com/ My insurance agent is sold on the stuff(as well as selling it) and thus far has made a pretty good case to justify it. He is saying the company has been targeting fleets instead of the general public to get real world results instead of just some lab and advertising campaign.
I think I am going to give it a try and see how it goes. Can anyone think of a reason it could be harmful to a motor?

I don't see one word about price or where you can get it. Who owns the company and pays for damages if it don't work? Who do you contact?

Good point, I will call them Monday and see who answers the phone. Ever call about a product and get a call center who has divisions to speak about products? I hope this isn't the case for this group, but will look into it the first of the week.

Keep us posted on this. If it does what it says I would be interested in trying it if the price is reasonable.
One thing I don't recall seeing is...do you have to add it each time you change oil? I suspect so.

The price I think is set by each seller and not sure how all that works as each motor has a different requirement pending the amount of oil they hold. I know he told me about a price reduction from now through June 22nd.
I asked him about using it with Synthetics and he said the extra expense of Synthetics wouldn't be needed as this coating is suppose to last 60,000 miles +/-. The reason I had asked about the Syn's was I had looked at using Schaeffers oil since they are based out of St. Louis and have heard really great things about them.
So for now I am going to change the oil with universally found Rotella T and Cermet and see what happens over two oil changes or 10k.

I talked to my insurance agent on Friday and overheard a conversation in the background while he was getting a cert. ready for me. A member of the city council where my agent is based purchased some for a vehicle a month ago and was back to place an order for (4)four more veicles the city runs. It is not the best testimonial, but it is a start as I have yet to purchase the stuff.
If you call the company from their website they will send a brochure covering what the product does and you can make your mind up from there. Keep in mind, it is not cheap stuff...$99-$200 pending dealer/vehicle.
