Hey all,
I live in Little Rock and my name is Chris and I am seriously starting to look into getting into the Hot Shots business. I am the son of two truckers and driving is in my blood. I am not really sure where the best place to start is, so any advice would be great.
I have not completely scoured the forum, but my questions are mostly about what I need to do be legal for hot shotting...

Welcome to the forum.

Reading this forum should answer most of those questions. What questions don't get answered we will try to help out.

Keep this in mind....whatever a big truck has to do a hotshot also has to do. A couple of things apply only if over 26K so if you are going to run over 26K you have to comply with all things your parents had to do.

I have a really stupid question.  It says that that all this was posted on april 1 2008.  Im looking at the time right now and its march 31 2008 at 1101 pm on the east coast.  Am I missing something?  I feel lost. Embarassed  no hijack intended.

It is not a stupid question. You are not the first to ask about the time thing. Rose has tried to fix it but for some reason she has been unable to do so. Note in the right lower corner that the time is GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) - 6 hours. This is the displayed time. Check this site.

I just noticed that your post for me in TX shows the 31st.

Thanks for the welcome Tom. There is a lot of good information on this site. I will definitely bug you with questions as I get more comfortable.
