CDL and Driving Record questionsNeed info on where to get CDL training that is pretty quick and reasonably priced.
I've checked with several Tech Schools and they have good prices but they take 9-8weeks. The Truck Driving schools I haven't checked into. I'm trying to find something in Central Texas (Killeen, Waco, Temple, Austin)
About driving records: I notice alot of companies asking for Drivers with clean records. How CLEAN is CLEAN.
I know that with as much time as you guys put on the road you have some infractions. I put more miles in than the average Joe does for personal driving and I just got my record cleaned up (100%) last year and screwed that with a seat-belt ticket this past summer. I'm 34yrs old.
I ask this because I am considering going O/O HotShot when I return from Afghanistan next year and want to know if the SeatBelt ticket would be an issue. And how long I should expect it to take me to get my CDL through a Training/School.
