Dallas Morning News Runs Road Hazards Series:The Dallas Morning News today concluded a three-day series that mischaracterized the trucking industry as fraught with unskilled drivers operating unsafe equipment without regard for the industry’s many rules and regulations. Its broad brush approach to illustrating an industry that includes more than 570,000 motor carriers and 3.3 million truck drivers does a tremendous disservice to those professional and safe truck drivers who safely ply our nation’s highways every day.
