The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration reported August 22 that a laptop computer with the names, dates of birth and CDL numbers of 193 people who hold licenses from 40 motor companies was stolen from a government vehicle that was broken into in Baltimore, Maryland. The theft occurred less than a month after another laptop, containing personal information on 81,000 CDL holders in Florida, was taken from a vehicle outside a restaurant in Miami.
