Question about MC numberaliciaMar 27, 06 - 4:18 PM Question about MC number Is it right that DOT number are free but the MC number is the ones that cost. Trying to help a friend out and my computer go completely redone & I have lost everything to do with the MC number information.. Trying to do it the cheapest way possible.. Thank in advance.. There is still the single state registration, process agents filing, and state DOT if you plan to pickup and deliver within your home state. The insurance company will charge you a filing fee in addition to the policy premeium. There is probably something I am forgetting but you can bet someone will tell you what it is.
