Truck protectionI am in Chesapeake VA. right now & just heard some noise out in the street a while ago and then the police were out there chasing some guys? This doesn't look like a bad neighborhood, but one never really knows when traveling.
So does anyone carry anything with them in the truck for worst case scenario? I remember last year New Orleans made me take notice of my surroundings. Never seen so much security at hotels/truck stops

Already got her, Chow/Pit Bull mix. She is 12 now though and not quite the fireball she used to be, but lets those know who get to close to her truck that she is there.

Get your concealed hand gun license and start carrying a pistol. Check the state laws of your normal traveled states about carrying on your person but most states allow carrying in the vehicle. Check also which states have a reciprocal carry agreement.

I have got a Kimber .45 but was thinking the law applies to the state you are from. So in IL I could have the gun in the truck out of reach while driving as well the clip has to be elsewhere.
To be honest though, the gun would probably get me in more trouble than not having it.

If the state you are in has a reciprocal agreement your lic. is good in that state but you have to comply with the laws of the state you are in.
