I had to replace two trailer tires in New Jersey. Actually lost the tire in Ohio on Saturday afternoon, but no commercial stores were open on the weekend. So had to go to Long Island w/o a spare
Anyway on Monday found a place in Tom's River, N.J. called Service Tire http://www.sttc.com which has 25 locations in N.Y., N.J., DE., MD. & PA. with road service if needed. Good guys and they let me park the trailer in their secured lot overnight.
The odd part was the tires I needed were almost $100 cheaper each than what the quotes were in Louisiana & Illinois when I replaced the last two.

When I was running 16" tires I always carried 2 spares, needed them both a couple of times too. Once lost 2 at the same time, and lost 3 in 4 weeks, had just reloaded the spares when I lost the 3rd. Not easy to find the spares with the proper load rating when you need them.

| Yeah know what you mean, replaced the two out in MD & just had to buy two more today in Phoenix, AZ. There is now a complete set of Goodyear G614's on this thing. Kept the original spare and another is in the bed. So far though, the GY's @ 110 psi seem to handle everything very well. |

I hope they last as much as they cost! I did hit a curb(had no choice) in N.J. getting off some county road out of a subdivision that would have taken out any other E range tire. Didn't like that it happened, but was glad it didn't affect it as there was no where to stop on those narrow roads to change it in the snow/rain.
