A couple of years ago OH DOT put me through a level 1 inspection. I had a car on my trailer. He checked to see if I had 1,000,000 in Liability Coverage.
Many brokers for LTL freight only require 750k liability and 100k in cargo insurance. Some LTL brokers will require the 1,000,000 in liability, and some car brokers may require increased cargo insurance. Some could require 150k, 200k, or 250k+ depending on how many units you can haul. Seems to me McNutt requires 150k on a 2 place trailer.
I carry 1,000,000 liability, and 200k cargo.

Mcnutt requires 100k on a two car and 150k on three to four car trailers. Hazel is the enforcer & what ever you do, DO NOT irritate her.
